Alice Francis’s Garbage Catwalk

Garbage Catwalk is a sustainability project that uses the power of music and art to raise awareness around the issues of growing environmental pollution and climate change. It was founded by the singer and songwriter Alice Francis, a great artist who performed at Urkult some years ago with her epic concerts filled with voracious “electroswing”. Together with her musical partner Goldielocks, she has produced both a live show and music videos that addresses the issues around environmental pollution and climate awareness. They have collected garbage from nature as well as from the parks and streets of Berlin, and created a series of amazing and unusual costumes. Come and experience this exuberant live music performance and fashion show of creations made from trash, magnificently worn by artists from the LGBTQIA+ and diversity scene.
