One of Swedish underground’s brightest shining stars! Boko Yout calls his music ‘afro-grunge’ and idiosyncratically blends electronic and analogue music genres. The Stockholm-based all-around artist and performer Paul Adamah’s Bermuda Triangle of explosive creativity has its roots deeply embedded in the contrasting dynamics between danceable rhythms and the mundane grey everyday life. With vulnerable sensuality and lively explosiveness, Boko Yout confronts his experiences – of internalised homophobia and stereotypes about black masculinity – from his upbringing in the hometown of Örebro. Through his chaotic live performances, Adamahs reminds us that youth resides in the soul and encourages us to constantly stay tuned into life, reminding us to remain energised, so that we can transform ourselves over and over again
