With a voice shifting between crystal clear and a warm vibrato Ayla flies over deep bass lines and dreamy tones. Her music is a physical experience, a dreamy journey through a fusion of dub, reggae, electronica, folk music and indie. Captivating melodies in carefree collision with experimental ecstasy. The Malmö-based artist, singer and music producer has previously performed at the festival together with Västerbotten rapper Cleo. The artists have a long tradition of collaborations and Cleo also appears on Ayla’s two latest albums, both of which were released last year, “Pussel” and “Ayla Ondamoon”. This time, the Urkult scene is her own and it will be filled to the brim with Ayla’s personal sound world of liberation, attitude and playfulness.
