The Night of Fire
THOUSANDS OF YEARS LATER, THE FIRES ARE LIT ONCE MORE
The Night of Fire is Urkult’s opening ceremony. Thousands of people gather on the steep hillside overlooking the main stage and its dance floor. Close, close together, we meet to create memories in a place where people have gathered since time immemorial. The Night of Fire connects past, present, and future. It is a call, in the name of solidarity, to remember that we are all one and that together we can choose a path of care. For one another and for the natural world that sustains us. It symbolises a possibility: to let the fire carry both the memory of our origins and our hope for the future. A hope for peace, loving togetherness, and compassion.
This Year's Eldnatten: “ELDR”
A tribute to the many manifestations of fire, ELDR is a ritual performance by the performance collective The Inner Ear, joined by specially invited guest artists and fire mystics. This unique one-time performance is created exclusively for Urkult's 30th anniversary.
Get ready for mythological fire beings, electronic beats, and dreamlike visions.
