Buy your ticket through Tickster via our Ticketspage. The earlier you buy your ticket, the lower the price. Urkult has a fixed audience capacity, so we recommend securing your ticket well in advance of your visit to Näsåker. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the festival entrance. If you have questions regarding your ticket purchase, please contact Tickster Support directly.
Tickets are not personal, so it doesn't matter whose name appears on the ticket. However, each ticket can only be redeemed once.
Can I Buy Tickets on Arrival in Näsåker?
Urkult has a fixed capacity of 6,750 tickets. We therefore recommend securing both your festival ticket and camping accommodation before travelling to Näsåker.
Purchase your ticket through Tickster's website or by calling +46 771 47 70 70. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the ticket booth next to the festival entrance, but please don't rely on tickets being available on arrival.

We try our best to maintain reasonable prices for everybody. We offer discounts to Youth between 15–17 year olds and also Seniors 65+. The discount does not apply to disability pension or early retirement pension recipients. Children below the age of 15 are allowed in for free in company with their guardian.
No, slots at the campsites are not included in the festival tickets. Although you have to have a festival wristband to live on the campsites during the festival. There are several different camping grounds in and around Näsåker that you can book. Information about all accommodation alternatives is on our website under Camping & Accomodation. Usually you can start to book campsites in the beginning of May.
The bag ban at large public events in Sweden is no longer in effect. However, all bags, prams, wagons, and changing bags will be checked by staff at the festival entrance to help keep the festival safe for everyone.
We have decided not to accept cash because handling tills and cash contributes to an excessive workload. The places affected by this change, where it will only be possible to pay by bank card, are the Urkult entrance, pubs, Festival office/information, the ticket booth by the circus tent, and Urkult’s own food stalls such as the pancake stall, sweet shop, and the breakfast service at the "församlinghem".
Many market stalls and food stands will still accept cash as usual. It is good to know that the petrol station in Näsåker now has a cash machine. Also new is that the token booths where you previously bought beer tokens will be closed. Alcohol will instead be paid for at the bar.
Many people ask us how to find accommodation that is indoors. Unfortunately we are not able to find and book accommodation for you. You can have a look under Camping & Accomodationfor updated information about how to get in contact with people who might rent out private housing.
During the festival we have a temporary parking ban in the village as well as along the road down to the river. It is for the sake of potential emergency transports. If the parking ban is ignored there will be a fine.
The best alternative is to park your car at the big Parking lot between the church and Highway 90, situated by Sigges family campsite. Read more at our website under the tab Getting to Näsåker .
There will be a road barrier by the church to hinder unauthorised people entering the area during the festival. If your accommodation is inside the road barrier you can get your car pass at Urkults office before the festival, or during the festival you can get it at Markusgården.
Unfortunately there are no car chargers in Näsåker yet.
Urkult works in many different ways to make you as a visitor as safe at the festival as possible. In case of accidents and injuries we always have a First Responder on duty. We also work closely together with security guards and police during the festival. In addition to the police, the security and SOS we have an additional Security service that offers support if you experience something unpleasant at or around the festival. Take a swim in the wonderful river during the festival, but do it at the beach!
Currents are strong and it’s very dangerous to swim out in the river. Be aware that the water flows can change rapidly due to water regulation. Todays energy system can cause massive volumes of water to be released without warning on an entirely new scale than before, so be cautious and careful!
The safe beach is marked on the map. For those of you who take trips to the area’s dry riverbeds—places where water slowly flows over bedrock—please exercise extreme caution. There is no alarm signal so these places can become life-threatening in a very short time.
Please be careful and take care of each other!
Most concerts are outdoors so you should bring rainwear. Rain ponchos are sold at Markusgården and in the information shed inside the festival area.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed at the festival area with the exception of guide dogs and service dogs on duty. For the dogs sake, do not bring it to Näsåker during the festival week.

- Glass bottles or glass jars.(We do not want glass on the festival grounds.)

- Large speakers
Urkult takes place in the interior of Ångermanland, where public services can sometimes be lacking.
Telia, Halebop, and Tele2 work well in Näsåker.
Other providers may have more issues.
Urkult takes place in a scenic area where the physical accessibility is limited in some areas. At our website you can read more under Safe & Accessible .
Lost property can be handed in at the Festival Office at Markusgården, Navet next to the festival entrance, or the Information Booth inside the festival grounds. Any items remaining after the festival weekend will be collected and stored at the Urkult office. All valuables will be handed over to the police in Sollefteå after the festival.

There is organic and locally farmed food in the festival. Vegetarian and vegan dished as well as dishes containing meat. At our webpage you can read more under Market & Food .
You are not allowed to bring any drinks into the festival area. Any drinks brought along will be poured out before entry. In the festival area, there is a wide selection of organic beverages available for purchase at one of our three bars: Etnostupet, Rotvältan, and Groop-Inn. Here, you will find wines of all colours, sparkling wines, ciders, and beers both on tap and in cans, as well as soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages.
You can re-fill your water for free inside the Entry to the festival or at Markusgården. However water bottles made of glass are also not allowed inside the festival area, as there are many people including children that walk around barefoot.
The grocery store "Coop Nära" have extended opening hours during the festival. The gas station ”Stureplan” has a smaller range of groceries. Ingelas café and Flintabaren serve food and there are also a large number of temporary food trucks outside and around the festival area. We cannot guarantee that the food is organic or locally farmed except for the ones inside the festival area and the ones that are part of ”Urkuts fair market”.
