URKULTS FAIR MARKET
We have high standards for our market vendors
Everything inside the area “Urkults Fair Market” meets Urkults requirements so that you as a consumer can be sure that the product you buy is produced in a fair and environmentally conscious way. One of Urkult's goals is to organise the festival in solidarity with both people and nature. That's why we strive to ensure that everything sold on the festival grounds and along the market street is organic, locally produced, and ethically sourced whenever possible. We also host The Children's Market, giving young festival-goers the opportunity to take part in Urkult's Fair Market and share their own creations. Creating a festival with as little negative environmental impact as possible is important to us. With thousands of people gathering in one place, it's a challenge we cannot meet alone. We need your help too. Together, we can make it possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Would you like to join the market? Do you have sustainably produced crafts, locally grown produce or anything else exciting that might be suitable for our market?

FOOD & DRINK
Everything is organic inside the festival area
Good ingredients make good food. All food vendors on the festival grounds and at Urkult's Fair Market are required to use organic ingredients. We also help connect vendors with local producers to increase the use of locally sourced food.
Organic food is produced without synthetic pesticides, helping to keep our soil and waterways healthier. Supporting local food production reduces transport distances and contributes to a vibrant rural community in northern Sweden. We also strive to have as many non-profit organisations as possible serving food at the festival.

Pannkakeriet
Since 2003, Urkult has been serving pancakes at the festival. The idea is simple: to offer something familiar and comforting for the many children who visit Urkult each year.
Breakfast
Urkult serves breakfast at the Församlingshemmet from Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The breakfast buffet is entirely vegetarian, with many vegan options available. Gluten-free alternatives are also provided, and the breakfast is sesame-free. Welcome!
The Bars
The festival grounds feature a wide selection of organic drinks available from our three bars: Etnostupet, Rotvältan, and Groop-Inn. Here you'll find wine, sparkling wine, cider, and beer on tap and in cans. Of course, soft drinks and other non-alcoholic options are also available.
Information for food vendors on the festival site
Urkult places high standards on all food sold within the festival grounds. Ingredients must be organic and preferably locally sourced. We are happy to help connect vendors with local producers!
