The multicultural band Las Karamba consists of members from Venezuela, Cuba, Catalonia, France and Argentina. Together they create new, timeless, danceable music that includes everything from traditional music styles such as Son, Cha-Cha-Cha, Salsa and Timba, influences from rap and urban music, as well as a touch of Samba and Rumba. Founded in the midst of the bustling streets of Barcelona, “Las Karamba” came into being. Six life stories converged here, each individually shaped by migration, musical heritage, and sometimes subversive family backgrounds.Together they have created a powerful electrifying show with danceable songs, wonderful arrangements and catchy melodies.
