Maximalism and stage shows, hope, warmth and joy as well as quite a lot of fuel for the fire of justice are what you can expect at a Sliteneliten concert. With a twinkle in their eye, this Norwegian folk-punk sextet serves up political songs filled with tough subjects, faith, humor and a big sprinkling of proof that another world is possible. The band takes its inspiration from prog and punk from today and from the big bands of the 60s and 70s. On their fan list, they mention many Swedish legends such as Nationalteatern, Hoola Bandoola, Blå Tåget, Röda Bönor and Ebba Grön. With freshly polished flutes and new horsehair on the strings, they come to Urkult full of anticipation and with great joy to, in their messy way, give radical feminism a new name to the list of prog bands throughout history.
